Front of House Manager

The Cooley Kill Restaurant at Van Patten Golf Club is seeking an experienced and professional, full-time Front of House Manager to lead our service team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and working closely with the restaurant manager and chef to maintain smooth service and high standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling, hiring, training, and supervising front-of-house staff
• Coordinating and overseeing daily service operations
• Ordering and managing inventory of alcohol and bar supplies
• Ensuring excellent guest service and resolving customer concerns
• Monitoring staff performance and providing ongoing feedback
• Collaborating with management and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow
• Enforcing health, safety, and service standards
• Assisting with special events and private dining functions as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Organizational skills for scheduling, ordering, and inventory management
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations
