We’re partnering with a reputable and forward-thinking General Contractor in Cleveland, Ohio seeking a seasoned Director of Construction to lead and oversee their growing pipeline of commercial construction projects.

The Role:

As the Director of Construction, you will:

• Oversee all active and upcoming commercial construction projects across the region
• Lead project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff
• Ensure quality, schedule, and budget benchmarks are met across all sites
• Work closely with the executive team on strategic planning, hiring, and business development
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Implement and refine systems, processes, and safety protocols to ensure operational excellence

What We’re Looking For:

• 10 years of construction experience, including senior leadership or director-level roles
• Strong background in commercial construction (retail, healthcare, office, industrial, etc.)
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams and multi-million-dollar projects simultaneously
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with construction software such as Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam
• A strategic mindset and a passion for building high-performing teams
