Ministry Area: Here, Near, Far Outreach
Location: Chanhassen/Hybrid
Reports to: Associate Outreach Director

Ministry Area Purpose:
Westwood’s Here-Near-Far ministry exists to start, strengthen, and scale churches for multiplication here, near, and far. We do this through multiplying disciples, multiplying leaders, and multiplying partnerships.
Role:
To provide support for the implementation and execution of Westwood’s Here-Near-Far Outreach ministry.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and support volunteers of Here Outreach teams and initiatives at the Chanhassen Campus, including:
o Annual backpack and school supply drive
o Hope Garden
o Annual Christmas collection drive
o Foster Care ministry team
· Manage Outreach volunteer database and onboarding of new volunteers to Here, Near, or Far teams
· Provide initiative and event support for Westwood’s Racial Justice and Reconciliation Team, Refugee Ministry, and Table Project
· Manage administrative processes of Far ministry trips and traveling teams, including the utilization of Managed Mission software
· Carry out annual schedule of ministry partner communication, including:
o Maintaining up-to-date contact information and records for Here, Near, and Far partners
o Managing database/records for partner newsletters and updates
o Maintaining bi-weekly partner prayer newsletter
o Processing check requests for ministry needs
· Provide support as needed for the Associate Outreach Director, including:
o Maintaining updated eSpace requests for events and meetings
o Arranging hospitality/refreshments as needed for meetings & events
o Oversee and maintain all communication channels for outreach calendar of events
· Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
· Someone who lives a life that honors God in heart, actions, and relationships, with the goal of becoming more like Jesus
· Two or more years ministry experience
· Demonstrated ability to recruit, equip, and mobilize volunteers for lay leadership and ministry team participation
· Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple events/projects at one time
· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools
· Database experience (preferred)
· Ability to administer, organize, and develop processes for ministry function
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to handle confidential information professionally
· Ability to relate to other Westwood staff and church attenders at large
· Endorse and support Westwood’s Statement of Faith
· Remain a member in good standing of Westwood Community Church
