Pre-K Classroom Paraeducator PositionThe Windham Southeast School District (WSESD)/Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is an increasingly diverse community with an ongoing commitment to social justice and anti-racism. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work. Oak Grove School, in Brattleboro, VT has an opening for a full-time pre-kindergarten classroom paraeducator for the 2024-2025 school year. The Oak Grove Pre-Kindergarten class is a collaboration with Head Start providing full-day pre-k for students who are four turning five.
Candidates for this position should be willing to collaborate within a three person team, supervise and engage with students indoors and outdoors, support students in play and pre-academic skill building, and have experience working with students in early childhood education. Candidates should be flexible, open to taking direction, willing and able to support students socially, emotionally, and academically, and complete other duties assigned by the principal. This is a wage grade 3 position with a salary range of $17.81 - $24.71 depending on experience. 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week, 191 days per school year.
