Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, assessing and triaging patients based on their medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Perform physical examinations and monitor vital signs, documenting changes in patient conditions accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in trauma medicine procedures, including stabilization of patients with critical injuries.
- Provide care for infants and neonates, including operation of neonatal ventilators when necessary.
- Support behavioral health assessments and interventions for patients presenting with mental health concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital policies and infection control measures.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required; experience in an emergency room or critical care setting preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing relevant to emergency care.
- Experience with dermal fillers is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of ICU protocols and trauma medicine practices is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in infant care, including handling neonatal emergencies, is beneficial.
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and applying aseptic techniques is essential.
