Arc Health is seeking physicians with Emergency Medicine experience to assist an Emergency Department in Kayenta, AZ, serving the native Navajo community.
Position Details:
- Type: Emergency Medicine Physician
- Setting: Level 5 Trauma ED
- Location: Kayenta, AZ
- Facility: Kayenta Health Center - Indian Health Services
- Annual Volume: 18,000 patients
Duties Include:
- Major trauma cases, including fractures of multiple extremities, stab wounds, open wounds of the chest, abdomen, and extremities;
- Major medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, respiratory failure, shock, diabetic ketoacidosis;
- Obstetrical emergencies, including deliveries of single or multiple births, acute pregnancy complications, and vaginal bleeding;
- Pediatric emergencies (25% of patient volume).
Requirements:
- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice, with at least 18 months of experience;
- Hold a valid medical license from any U.S. state or territory;
- Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS; NRP and ALSO strongly recommended for Family Practice-trained providers;
- Clean background.
