Job Title: Medical Facility
Urgent Care Physician at Pinon Health Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and respond to significant changes in patient health conditions.
- Perform delegated tasks and document pertinent data into the electronic system.
- Provide emergency care regularly and as needed.
- Meet the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Conduct outpatient clinics and provide observations and recommendations for treatment.
- Refer patients to appropriate medical facilities when necessary.
- Educate patients and families about vaccines and other health-related topics.
- Activate Emergency Medical Response as required.
- Offer clinical oversight to LPNs, CNAs, and Health Technicians.
Requirements:
- 36 months of Family Practice/General Medicine experience (unless approved by the CSU Credentials Committee).
- Must be board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Family Physicians or ABIM.
- Current, valid, unrestricted physician license in any state, DC, Puerto Rico, or US territory.
- No exclusions or sanctions from Medicare/Medicaid programs.
- Must meet medical staff requirements for appointment and privileges at Pinon Health Center.
