Senior General Litigation Attorney – Leadership Role in High-Impact Consumer Matters | New York, NY
A highly respected litigation practice is seeking an accomplished Senior General Litigation Attorney with 15 years of experience in consumer-related litigation to join its New York City office. This is a rare leadership opportunity to manage high-stakes, complex cases across consumer protection, class actions, product liability, and commercial disputes for a dynamic and client-focused practice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in a wide range of consumer-focused litigation, including fraud, deceptive trade practices, breach of contract, and product liability.
• Lead and manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Oversee class action litigation and mass tort matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and motions.
• Advise clients on litigation risks and dispute resolution strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff.
• Stay current on developments in consumer protection laws and related case law.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 15 years of experience in general or consumer litigation.
• Proven track record managing complex, high-stakes litigation independently.
• Significant courtroom experience, including trials and motion practice.
• Familiarity with New York State and federal court procedures.
• Skilled in handling both individual and class action cases.

Education:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
• Admission to the New York State Bar (in good standing).
• Admission to U.S. District Courts in New York preferred.
