Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically working with children on the autism spectrum. Your role will involve implementing behavior management strategies and collecting data to track progress. RBT certificate will be required for the job.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to teach appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
- Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify individualized treatment plans
- Assist with the development of care plans and medical documentation
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Requirements:
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans accurately
