Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support and promoting positive behavioral changes through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Assist in collecting and recording data on behavioral progress and treatment efficacy.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Engage with children in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
- Collaborate with families to reinforce strategies at home and ensure consistency in care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as required by regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Assist in training new staff members on behavior management techniques and protocols.
Skills
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Proficiency in behavior management strategies and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and record-keeping practices.
- Ability to assist clients effectively while maintaining their dignity and respect.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
