CARRY ON THERAPY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will provide direct support to children with autism and other developmental disabilities through in-home therapy. Your role will involve implementing behavior management strategies, teaching essential skills, and collecting data to track progress. Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide one-on-one support to children with developmental disabilities, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to teach appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills.
- Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify individualized treatment plans.
- Assist with the development of care plans and medical documentation.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Requirements:
- RBT certification (required).
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
