- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and supporting disclosures (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with precision and timeliness.
- Develop and file SEC reporting documents, including press releases, Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and the Annual Report.
- Independently manage complex accrual journal entries and ensure the accuracy of the financial statements.
- Complete timely and accurate account reconciliations, including variance analysis and completeness checks.
- Lead and execute special projects, including preparing executive-ready presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate across global finance and operational teams, engaging stakeholders and driving discussions.
- Analyze trends and coordinate with finance and operating teams to update forecasts and investigate variances.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure all transactions comply with U.S. GAAP and execute/review SOX controls.
- Research and interpret new accounting standards and analyze competitor financial disclosures.
- Prepare benefit plan financial statements and assist with related audits.
- Review XBRL tagging for SEC filings.
- 2-4 years of experience in Accounting, Audit, or related Finance roles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and financial statement analysis
- Experience preparing and executing journal entries and reconciliations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
- CPA or MBA
- Experience with Onestream or Oracle
- Familiarity with XBRL and Workiva (or similar software)
- Experience working in a retail, public accounting, or SEC reporting environment
- Prior presentation experience to management
- Software-based financial analysis
