What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Assistant Executive Housekeeper position at Holiday Inn Express?
We are looking for a professional Housekeeper Manager with the ability of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail while displaying a service minded attitude, and handling employees and tasks when manager on duty. The goal is to create a clean environment for our guests that will continue to maintain and strengthen our reputation as a leading hospitality brand.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks such as washing, drying folding linen/ terry products (as needed), sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing
- Ensure your employees have all the needed linen/terry products needed to prepare rooms
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned and maintained according to standards
- Notify superiors and management on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
- Manage housekeeping department when Executive Housekeeper is away
- Preform any tasks needed by Executive Housekeeper
Requirements:
- Management Experience Preferred
- Honest & Reliable.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of English language
- Ability to Stand, Stoop, Bend, Pull/Push Carts for long periods of time
- Attention to detail is a must!
- Ability to engage guests with a positive service minded attitude
- Weekends & Holidays are a MUST!
- First 90 days Trial Period
- Experience in managing employees
Typical Work Day:
- Work Begins Daily @ 8 am to prepare the housekeeping tasks for the day
- End times vary based on occupancy and time of year.
- Housekeepers and Executives are Responsible for providing service for up to 23 rooms per day.
