Job Summary For Junior Application, Production Support Analyst – NYC
- Provide production support for distributed technology platforms, ensuring reliable service delivery to clients.
- Monitor systems proactively using alerts and manage incidents, problems, and user escalations through ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, application, and network layers.
- Participate in incident calls, collaborating with IT partners, infrastructure, and technology stakeholders.
- Work closely with development teams and end-users to resolve support issues.
- Identify and implement improvements in automation, resiliency, observability, and documentation.
- Operate within a global, follow-the-sun support model; participate in weekend/off-hours on-call rotation.
- Ensure adherence to consistent procedures and best practices across global support teams.
- Use and improve skills in UNIX/Linux, SQL, and scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl, or JavaScript).
- Communicate effectively and remain composed in high-pressure environments.
- Apply knowledge of ITIL, SDLC, Agile, and SRE principles as needed.
- Opportunity to work with modern tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible.
- Position is based in NYC (3-4 days/week onsite); early-career candidates (1-5 years’ experience) preferred.
