Our client is a luxury fashion brand based in Midtown Manhattan looking for a motivated and organized HR Coordinator to join their team in New York.
Description
- Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, and communication with managers and store employees
- Develops unique training programs to fulfill employee needs to maintain or improve job skills
- Creates and / or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
- Presents training and development programs using various forms and platforms including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development
- Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses
- Collaborate with the HR team in maintaining and building policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation
- This role provides transactional and administrative support for HR initiatives, community relations and employee engagement programs

Profile
- Minimum 1-2 years in Human Resources
- Knowledge of human resources systems, policies, and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, insurance language and standards, or governmental regulations
- Fashion experience is a plus!
- Requires ability to compute ratios and percentages and to develop graphs and charts
