Bindery Helper

Sheridan is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bindery Helper to join our dynamic team in Cushing, MN. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks involving recurring hand work and light machine operations on the 3rd shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading printed signatures into correct pockets for collating
• Inspecting product from the line to ensure good quality and communicating issues to the operator
• Hand collating, inserting, stickering, ribbon application, and repairing
• Accurately recording all production in job tickets, load tags, and logbooks
• Closing, taping, and palletizing boxes
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and assisting the operator with daily maintenance of machines when applicable
• Performing all other duties assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Ability to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately
• Ability to work in a team setting

Physical Requirements:

• Walking: Ability to walk with ease due to some operations requiring constant walking
• Standing: Ability to stand for long hours on a concrete floor or wooden platform
• Lifting: Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously
• Twisting: Ability to twist/rotate at the waist up to 90 degrees when loading or packing

Salary : $30,000 - $45,000
