Bindery Helper

Job Description:

Sheridan seeks a detail-oriented Bindery Helper to join our dynamic team in Brainerd, MN. As a vital member of our 3rd shift team, you will perform physical tasks involving hand work and light machine operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading printed signatures into correct pockets for collating.
• Inspecting product from the line to ensure good quality and communicating issues to operators.
• Hand collating, inserting, stickering, ribbon application, and repairing.
• Accurately recording all production in Technique, job tickets, load tags, and logbooks.
• Closing, taping, and palletizing boxes.
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas for the next shift.
• Assisting operators with day-to-day machine maintenance when applicable.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read and identify various printed forms, as well as count accurately.
• Teamwork experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking: Ability to walk with ease, as some operations require constant walking.
• Standing: Ability to stand on a concrete floor or wooden platform for long periods.
• Lifting: Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Twisting: Ability to twist/rotate at the waist, up to 90 degrees, when loading or packing.

Salary : $40,000 - $60,000
