What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender (Tipped) - 9280 Tap House - Full Time/Winter Seasonal - Keystone, CO position at vailresorts.valhalla.stage?
After a long day on the slopes, our guests can find plenty of Keystone restaurants to satisfy their cravings. From fine dining to burgers, pizza to international cuisine, our restaurants are on mountain or just a short walk from the slopes, delicious dining and beverages await. Bartenders are responsible for soliciting beverage orders from customers, serve in a friendly and timely manner. Other job duties include, but are not limited to:
Job Duties
- Maintain safe and clean work areas, follow santitation standards and applicable liquor laws.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Must possess excellent communication skills, be able to function effectively as part of a team, and take direction from supervisors and co-workers.
- Extensive wine knowledge may be required in certain outlets.
- Expected to have full knowledge of the menu and all beverage offerings within 14 days of hire.
- Certified Slip Resistant shoes are required prior to starting work. Shoes must be provided by the employee.
- TIPS certification will be required within 30 days of hire, classes are provided.
Job Qualifications
- English, fluent written and spoken -required
- High school diploma or equivalent -required
- TIPS - training provided if needed
- One season bartending experience at Keystone - STRONGLY preferred
- Slip resistant shoes -required
