9280' is at the base of Dercum Mountain in River Run Village. The outlet is open beginning Nov 1st for the duration of the ski season and serves lunch, dinner, and late night.
The Kitchen Manager manages day to day operations of the kitchen and assists the GM in operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hiring, training, motivating, and retaining team members
- Assisting with ordering, stocking, rotation of product, inventory, costing, pricing, and general kitchen organization and maintenance
- Communicate proper sanitation standards and directions to employees and co-workers
- Assist with development and implementation of pars, order guides, recipes, checklists, etc.
- Opening and closing duties as required
- Some outside work might be required
Job Qualifications:
- Culinary degree - preferred
- Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in F&B - required
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in F&B - required
- Servsafe or ability to obtain upon hire - required
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs - required
- Able to work with standard exposure to noise, chemicals, etc
- Basic computer knowledge - required
- Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary - required
- Able to provide own slip-resistant shoes prior to first day of work
