Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations and monthly closing processes for multiple real estate projects.
- Manage financial activities and consolidate financial results across various developments.
- Review and analyze monthly budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee monthly funding draws.
- Assist the team with reconciling commissions and deposit accounts.
- Prepare monthly management reports and handle adhoc requests.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or CPA eligibility highly preferred.
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
General Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of Accounting experience, including management experience.
- Proven ability to manage accounting for multiple real estate projects.
- Experience in posting general ledger journal entries.
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing construction budgets.
- Proficient in technical accounting research, financial statement preparation, and related disclosures.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and financial systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
