Accounting Manager

• Oversite of the GL month-end and year-end closing process
• Implement best practices for the GAAP accounting close process; work with both internal and external partners to drive process improvements
• Lead the annual external audit
• Responsible for Collections, AR, AP, cash management, and other accounting policies and ensure compliance with those policies
• Collaborate with various leaders throughout the organization and provide data-driven metrics and recommendations to help improve performance
• Responsible for the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and strategic planning processes
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial presentations for the leadership team and BOD
• Ensure compliance with bank covenants including preparation and submission of all compliance reports
• Participate in other ad-hoc and special projects and analyses as necessary

The successful applicant will have

• Bachelor’s in accounting, CPA, and/or advanced degree
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience public or private
• Proven track record of delivering on agreed-upon deadlines
• Comfortable as a Player-Coach - multi-tasking, learning quickly, problem-solving, mentorship
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to build a positive, team-oriented environment
• Ability to work well with a senior management team as well as mentor/lead junior team members.
• M&A experience is a plus
