A highly respected and nationally recognized construction litigation firm with offices across the U.S. is seeking a Senior Associate, Junior Partner, or Non-Equity Partner to join its Oakland office. The firm focuses exclusively on construction and government contracts, offering attorneys the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters in a focused and collaborative environment.
Client Base & Project Types:
The firm represents premier vertical builders, including those involved in large-scale commercial and civil infrastructure projects such as:
- Commercial and industrial high-rises
- Mixed-use developments
- Hospitals and healthcare campuses
- Nuclear facilities
- Roads, highways, and other civil construction
Types of Cases You’ll Handle:
- Contract disputes
- Project delays and scheduling conflicts
- Claims and damages analysis
- Delay, disruption, and acceleration claims
Ideal Background:
- 4 years of construction litigation experience
- Hands-on experience handling complex discovery, depositions, and expert coordination
- Strong analytical skills in project scheduling and claims analysis
- Ability to independently manage client relationships and case strategy
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
- Book of business is welcomed but not required
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 – $340,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
